One of Cornwall’s most historic houses, dating back to the 15th century, THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay has far-reaching sea views, cosy rooms, and oodles of original features and quirky character. Our rustic and relaxed cosy restaurant celebrates locally grown, caught and sourced Cornish produce. A stroll from heavenly Harlyn Beach, the hotel is just a 10-minute drive to Padstow.
The Restaurant
Really relax in the heart of the house by tucking into flavoursome Cornish dishes brimming with seasonal produce straight from our Kitchen Garden, fresh off the boat, or sourced from our local farmer friends down the road.

Cool off from the coast with a cold craft ale or cider from some of the best breweries on the tip of the South West or one of our signature cocktails made with local spirits & liqueurs.
The perfect, laid-back spot to eat in Cornwall in summer, The Lobster Shed serves up fresh seafood, chargrilled steaks and seriously moreish sharing dishes, with sun-kissed outdoor and under canvas dining on the terrace.
Potting Shed treatments
At THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay, the Potting Sheds sit just beyond the gardens, with the sea never far from sight. Treatments use natural products and an easy, restorative touch, bringing calm after windswept walks along the Cornish coast. Our therapists tailor each session to you, and the Potting Sheds are open to both residents and non-residents.

Tour our restored Kitchen Garden, enclosed by ancient Cornish slate walls, to see our greenhouse and homegrown, seasonal produce including rock samphire, sea kale and sea beet.
Wander along sandy Harlyn Bay Beach, just a stone’s throw from our house, or pop to the bustling town of Padstow, where pretty harbour streets, shops, cafés and ferries to Rock beckon.
Stretch your legs on local coastal walks and cycling trails. Trevone Beach and Trevose Head are in our little black book of hidden gems.
Escape through the Kitchen Garden into our Potting Shed treatment room – a truly calming space nestled beyond the veg beds for rejuvenating massages and facials.
