Our original PIG hotel in Hampshire’s enchanting New Forest
Secluded in Brockenhurst’s ancient woods, THE PIG has all the ingredients for a laid-back country getaway. The heart of the house is our greenhouse restaurant, serving delicious food from our lovely old walled Kitchen Garden. After a day’s exploring, sink into a comfy sofa by the crackling fire or turn in to relax in the peace of quiet of our cosy bedrooms.

The restaurant
Look forward to daily-changing menus at our indoor conservatory restaurant, with ingredients sourced from our Kitchen Garden or within a 25-mile radius, celebrating our best Hampshire supplier friends.

The bar
Our location means we are lucky enough to be surrounded by some award-winning artisan breweries, wineries and distilleries, and you will find them all on our bar menu.

Potting Shed treatments
Our Potting Sheds are tucked away in quiet corners of the grounds and our therapists are on hand with treatments tailored to you. Wellbeing at THE PIG is about slowing down and making space for yourself. Treatments in our Potting Sheds use natural products and a light touch, and are open to both residents and non-residents.

Hit the hay
Built in 1602 as a lodge for groomkeepers protecting the New Forest, our Hampshire country house mixes eclectic style with bundles of homely charm. Each of our 31 rooms has its own character, with beds so comfy you’ll never want to leave.

Sleeps twoA day well spent
At THE PIG, it’s not just a stay – it’s a little slice of rural life. From Kitchen Garden wanders to forest forays, you’ll find plenty to get stuck into.
Wander through our walled wonder – our Kitchen Garden is a patchwork of just-picked produce destined for your plate. Spot the buzzing beehives, hens and our resident Saddlebacks along the way.
Step beyond the front door into the wilds of the New Forest – ancient woodland, winding tracks and ponies that know no borders. Fancy the sea air instead? The coast is just a short drive away, including the sailing town of Lymington.
Named after the Anglo Saxon for ‘badger wood’, Brockenhurst village is a gentle wander away, or grab a map from the team and ramble deeper into the forest on foot or two wheels.
Down at the bottom of the garden, our rustic Potting Shed and Shepherd’s Hut treatment rooms are your go-to for relaxing in the heart of nature.
Whether you’re with us for lunch or a few nights, feel free to wander, there is lots to explore.
