Eat and Drink at THE PIG

seriously good, local food

We grow what we can, source what we can’t from trusted local suppliers, and cook with the seasons. Each plate tells a story of the landscape around it, from garden herbs and orchard fruit to line-caught fish and slow-reared meat. It’s simple, honest food served with warmth. A celebration of British produce, grown and gathered with care - the foundation of our 25 mile menu.

Rooted in the Kitchen Garden, served with soul

At THE PIGs, food is never just fuel. It’s our way of celebrating what’s growing, what's landed, and what’s been lovingly made nearby. Our menus follow the rhythms of the seasons and the soil - always shaped by what the Kitchen Garden is offering up that day, and whatever our local farmers, fishermen, growers and gatherers bring to the back door.

Stop in for a morning coffee and a slice of something warm from the oven, graze on the terrace with a wood-fired pizza, or tuck into a serious supper of just-picked veg and well-reared meat. Whether you’re dropping by or bedding in for a few nights, we’ll feed you well, the PIG way.

“For us in the kitchen, it always starts with what’s outside the back door. The garden sets the menu, and we build everything else around that.”

Andy Wright - Group Head Chef

From Plot to Plate

Everything begins in the Kitchen Garden - the real beating heart of each PIG. Our Gardeners and Chefs work shoulder to shoulder every day, planning what to grow, picking what’s ready, and building each menu around it. We call it our 25 mile menu, and it’s simple: if we didn’t grow it ourselves, we sourced it from someone brilliant who lives and works nearby.

No faff, no fuss - just seasonal, homegrown flavours treated with care.

Our Kitchen Gardens

Our local heroes

Behind every plate at THE PIG is a cast of brilliant farmers, growers, fishermen, cheesemakers, bakers and butchers - the lifeblood of our 25-mile menus. These are the people who bring us just-laid eggs, just-picked berries, hand-dived scallops and the best cuts of meat, all with care, skill and stories to tell. We visit them, talk to them, trust them - and couldn’t do what we do without them.

Eat in, out, or in between

Each of our restaurants is different, but they all serve up British Kitchen Garden food with a strong sense of place. Inside, the menu changes daily - sometimes twice - depending on what’s come in. Outside, you’ll find laid-back grazing: wood-fired pizzas, garden snacks, and a well-stocked bar for chilled tipples in the sun.

PIG wines & English bottles

Locally grown and lovingly poured. More than half of our wine list is made up of homegrown bottles — from the chalky downs of Kent to the wild Cornish coast.

We’re proud to champion brilliant English winemakers, and even prouder to serve our very own trio of PIG Wines, grown in vineyards just a short stomp away.

Garden to glass

Our bars are just as inspired by our Kitchen Gardens as our menus — where what’s grown, foraged or preserved finds its way into shrubs, syrups and garnishes.

From hedgerow spritzes to herb-twisted classics, our cocktails change with the seasons and the creativity of our bartenders.
