At THE PIG-at Combe, we’re all about those moments: the long lunches that roll into lazy evenings, the clinking of glasses by the fire, the laughter that fills the room long after dessert.
Our country house in the heart of Devon is made for gatherings, whether you’re marking a milestone, escaping with friends for the weekend, or simply finding an excuse to get everyone around the table. Picture sharing platters piled high with homegrown, hyper-local food, cocktails shaken to order in cosy lounges, and views of rolling hills just beyond the windows.

The Folly
The Folly is the largest of our private dining spaces and a unique setting for gathering together your nearest and dearest!
The Georgian Kitchen
Complete with pots, pans and a floor to ceiling dresser, The Georgian Kitchen is where it once all happened!
The Cellar - Sommelier's Table
The Cellar is nestled in the original wine vaults of our 16th century house, built at the same time as the Georgian Kitchen and the restaurant.
Bigger PIG Parties
We love nothing more than gathering people together to share stories and laughter over platefuls of delicious homegrown, hyper-local food and drink … not to mention we’ve got a bit of a penchant for a party!
We can host an intimate party for you and up to 22 of your favourite people with exclusive use of our 3 charming Curlditch Cottages and 5 rustic Stream Wagons.
Work away
At THE PIG-at Combe, we offer the perfect setting for meetings and team get-togethers, with spaces available from 9am to 5pm.
Day meetings include complimentary room hire with Wi-Fi, use of a projector, screen, pens and a flipchart, along with refreshments throughout the day.
Make a night of it
Why cut the celebrations short? Have a sleepover at ours and you can turn your gathering into a proper countryside escape!
Our rooms are cosy, characterful and full of charm, whether you’re tucked away in the main house, cosied up in one of the rustic Stream Wagons, or taking over the Curlditch Cottages with family and friends.
