At THE PIG-in the South Downs, we’re all about those moments: the long lunches that roll into lazy evenings, the clinking of glasses by the fire, the laughter that fills the room long after dessert.
Our country house set high up on the South Downs is made for gatherings, whether you’re marking a milestone, escaping with friends for the weekend, or simply finding an excuse to get everyone around the table. Picture sharing platters piled high with homegrown, hyper-local food, cocktails shaken to order in cosy lounges, and sweeping views across the Downs and our very first PIG vineyard.

The Garden Room
The Garden Room is packed with lived-in, homey furnishings and is the ultimate setting for bringing your favourite people around the table for supper!
The Round Table
Head down to The Round Table, settled in the heart of the wine cellar and oozing with character and charm.
The Restaurant
Our restaurant is in the heart of the house, and overlooks our very first vineyard - Alpaca Block! Tuck into plates brimming with simple and fresh Kitchen Garden produce.
Work away
Tucked away in our secret spot in the house, The Round Table offers the ideal private space for holding a meeting or a team get-together. Day meetings include complimentary room hire with Wi-Fi, use of a projector, screen, pens and a flipchart, along with refreshments throughout the day.
Make a night of it
Why cut the celebrations short? Have a sleepover at ours and you can turn your gathering into a proper countryside escape!
Our rooms are cosy, characterful and full of charm, whether you’re tucked away in the main house or cosied up in one of our rustic Garden Wagons in the Kitchen Garden.
