At THE PIG-near Bath, we’re all about those moments: the long lunches that roll into lazy evenings, the warmth of a fire after a countryside walk, and the laughter that fills the room long after dessert.
Just outside the historic city of Bath, our country house is surrounded by the beauty of the Somerset countryside, which makes the perfect backdrop for a proper get-together! Picture sharing platters piled high with homegrown, hyper-local food, cocktails shaken to order in cosy lounges, and views of our fallow deer herd wandering through the park.

The Old Dining Room
The largest of our private dining spaces, we can seat up to 20 of your nearest and dearest around our rustic wooden dining table.
The Kitchen Table
An ideal spot for family fun get-togethers or for laid-back dining after a busy day of meetings, that can seat up to 12 people, just off from the main restaurant.
The Billiard Room
The Cellar is nestled in the original wine vaults of our 16th century house, built at the same time as the Georgian Kitchen and the restaurant.
The Garden Room
Our pop-up private event space, serving smoky goodness from our Garden Oven - think under canvas dining, cosy fires, outdoor ambience, and blankets if needed.
Work away
At THE PIG-near Bath, we offer the perfect setting for business meetings and boardroom gatherings, with spaces available from 9am to 5pm. Day meetings include complimentary room hire with Wi-Fi, use of a projector, screen, pens and a flipchart, along with refreshments throughout the day.

Why cut the celebrations short? Have a sleepover at ours and you can turn your gathering into a proper countryside escape!
Our rooms are cosy, characterful and full of charm, whether you’re tucked away in the main house, cosied up in one of our garden rooms, or taking over the Stable Yard with family and friends.
