Book NowAt THE PIG, we’ve always celebrated simple, honest ingredients from right on our doorstep, and the coastline is perfect for wild, seasonal flavours! We can’t think of a better (or more PIG!) way to celebrate the season of wild garlic than by inviting you round to ours for a hands-on foraging adventure, workshop, and lunch at our patch on the Jurassic Coast.
So, pull on your wellies, zip up your coat and head out into the fresh sea air with our friend and wild food forager, Tom Radford, for a good old-fashioned forage along the coastline!
Head to our house in the morning at 10.30am, where we’ll warmly welcome you in with a hot drink, a fresh pastry and a friendly introduction to Tom – and you’ll be able to get to know your fellow foragers.
Next, you'll set out directly from the hotel and follow the Purbeck coastline, guided by Tom's wild and wonderful knowledge of the Jurassic Coast.

Once you’re back, roll up your sleeves for a relaxed, hands-on workshop guided by our PIG Chefs, learning how to make your very own Wild Garlic Pesto (using the foraged goodies you found on your walk!).
When you’ve worked up an appetite, you’ll sit down for a generous two-course lunch, inspired by your foraged finds, with generous pours of PIG Cut Wine.
