In our super special corners of the British countryside, we’re big fans of old-school, artisanal practices. From curing to smoking and planting to pickling, we love the low (or no) tech methods of getting the very best out of nature throughout the year. And whether you’re sleeping over with us, or are just stopping by to THE PIG, every visit invites you to do the same.
Walks and rambles
Making the most of the great outdoors is our secret sauce to THE PIG experience – and no-one knows our neighbouring hills, woodlands, coastlines and trails better than our own PIG People.
Our teams have a little black book of local, hidden gems off the beaten track. And they’re always happy to share the first places they trot to when it’s time to down tools, switch-off and get exploring. (And if you forgot to BYW, don't worry! We have plenty of Barbour wellies available to borrow at each PIG!)

Our homely, country houses are nestled in some of the most rugged, romantic and remote corners of the country. From breathtaking stretches on the north Cornwall coast to the ancient, cobbled streets through the Wine Garden of England, each PIG has been thoughtfully hand-picked for its history, its heart and its unique homeland.
