Our honey-hued hotel in the heart of the countryside

In the quintessential Cotswolds village of Barnsley, our Grade II-listed, 17th-century country house blends ornamental Arts and Crafts-style gardens designed by renowned British Gardener Rosemary Verey with cosy nooks, delicious Kitchen Garden food and rejuvenating spa treatments, just four miles from Cirencester.

Overlooking Rosemary Verey's original creations, enjoy seasonal dishes from our 25 mile menu, packed with produce freshly picked from our Kitchen Garden or sourced locally from our Cotswolds supplier friends.
