Our honey-hued hotel in the heart of the countryside
In the quintessential Cotswolds village of Barnsley, our Grade II-listed, 17th-century country house blends ornamental Arts and Crafts-style gardens designed by renowned British Gardener Rosemary Verey with cosy nooks, delicious Kitchen Garden food and rejuvenating spa treatments, just four miles from Cirencester.

The restaurant
Overlooking Rosemary Verey's original creations, enjoy seasonal dishes from our 25 mile menu, packed with produce freshly picked from our Kitchen Garden or sourced locally from our Cotswolds supplier friends.

Bar & lounges
THE PIG-in the Cotswolds is rooted in community and, when it comes to our drinks’ menu, we love nothing more than championing locally produced whiskeys, gins, lagers and pale ales on our doorstep. Plus, you’ll find a plentiful selection of the very best English wines from the winemaking rockstars we’re proud to call our good friends!

The Village Pub
THE PIG-in the Cotswolds comes with its very own Village Pub. Just across the road, it serves proper British pub classics, local ales and tasty bar snacks with a cracking wine list to match.

Fieldhouse Spa
At THE PIG-in the Cotswolds, wellbeing takes centre stage at the Fieldhouse Spa, set among orchards and meadows. Treatments use natural, nourishing products and a gentle touch, perfect after a countryside ramble or a day exploring market towns. Our therapists shape each session around you, and the Fieldhouse Spa is open to both residents and non-residents.
