Clifftop charm and Kitchen Garden feasts by the sea
Perched on a cliff above Studland Bay on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, THE PIG-on the beach is a mellow yellow hotel with sweeping sea views. Expect Kitchen Garden food, roaring log fires, gargoyles and a path that leads to golden sands and salty air. There’s something deeply English about this spot, with a hint of The Famous Five (author Enid Blyton loved holidaying here).

The restaurant
Enjoy seasonal British dishes from our Kitchen Garden and coastline at our conservatory restaurant, served with clear views across Studland Bay to Old Harry Rocks.

Bar & lounges
We believe that food and drink are all about sharing good times with family and friends, cracking open a bottle and settling into an evening together; our bar is very much at the heart of THE PIG experience.

Potting Shed treatments
At THE PIG-on the beach, the Potting Sheds overlook the sea and are a tranquil escape from the every day. Our spa treatments use natural products leaving you feeling truly grounded in the landscape around you. Our therapists tailor each session to the individual, and the Potting Sheds are always open to both residents and non-residents.

Hit the hay
Built in 1825 as a coastal getaway, THE PIG-on the beach sports original Gothic Revival features. Our 23 uniquely cosy rooms offer views of the sea or sheep-dotted fields, layered with textures, colours and Dorset character.
